Missions

Bible Baptist Church currently supports over 50 missionaries around the world. We praise the Lord for the very generous giving of our people through faith promise so we can support these servants of the Lord. Currently we support missionaries in the following regions:

-Ten in North America
-Four in Central America
-One in the Caribbean
-Nine in South America
-Ten in Europe
-Five in Africa
-Twelve in Asia
-One in Australia

Faith Promise

First, Faith Promise giving is a local church giving “to their power” and even “beyond their power” to the cause of missions at home and around the world. (2 Corinthians 8:1-3) I must pray and ask God what He wants me to give and then trust Him to provide.
Second, in order to sacrifice in my giving, I must first sacrifice in my living. (2 Corinthians 8:5) In order to know what God wants me to give I have to give myself so I can understand His will
Thirdly, in order to give as I should, I need to have a burden for the world and God’s ministers we support. (2 Corinthians 8:7-8) When we give by faith we will gain a greater burden (love) for the lost around us and around the world, as well as a burden and love for our missionaries.
Faith Promise giving is a free will offering given in addition to the tithe. We believe the tithe is something we owe the Lord as a way to give back to God and honor His generosity to us. The tithes received pay for the operating expenses of our church. We give Faith Promise as another offering to the Lord to help those who are serving Him as an extension of our church. All the Faith Promise gifts go to the missionfield and are not used for any church operating expenses.
Every year at our missions conference we pray and ask the Lord what His will is for us to give to missions that year. We then by faith promise the Lord we will give it to the church and God, by His grace, provides. Based on these Faith Promise commitments, we decide how we will disperse the funds that come in for missions.
